Jack's Lament
Jack laments on his lover's depression and suicidal tendency. His lover (violin) bids farewell with the phrase (E-A).
The use of intervals E-A was an idea from Music History class. Chopin used intervals of speech in his music to indicate "i know". I wanted to use this idea to sonically represents 'goodbye'. In Jack's lament, Jack persuades his lover, but, she continues to bid farewell and eventually, takes her life.
Whether Jack accepts her death or chose to follow his lover path is unclear.
